Is google chrome under / partially reporting RAM usage ?

You can see both the windows task bar and the google chrome task bar. Google chrome seems to be consistently under reporting the memory utilisation. Task Manager counts shared memory in each process. I would guess that Google does not. If you want more detailed info on memory usage, download a tool "vadump.exe" from microsoft.com

Chrome will be able to compete in more decent terms than Firefox was ever to do against IE.
Chrome rules, it is like Firefox, but with better minds behind. I hope FF disappears and every effort is set up to continue the good line of Chrome.
